How equipment works

• Level & stat requirements. Most gear needs a minimum hero level, and better items also demand Strength, Dexterity or Intelligence — build toward the gear you want.
• Weapons decide your damage and are grouped by family below. One-handed weapons free your off-hand for a shield; two-handed weapons trade that slot for bigger numbers.
• Armor sets (body, head, gloves, boots, legs) stack armor class and often share a theme favouring one stat.
• Belts and accessories round out a build: belts add inventory space, accessories add affix slots for bonus stats.
